Marine Radio Operators' Certificate of Proficiency (MROCP)

Incorporates unit TDM;

• ME5 07B - Marine radio operator`'s certificate of proficiency

MROCP is provided by AMTC as a scheduled course; attendance is highly recommended. Alternatively, candidates may self study from the 'Radio Operator's Handbook' and attend the examination.

Course Dates (3 evenings plus exam)

• 1, 3 and 5 September 2008 (evenings) Exam 6 September 2008
• 3, 5 and 7 November 2008 (evenings) Exam 8 November 2008

Elements of Shipboard Safety

Incorporates units TDM;

• MF11 07B - Survive at sea in the event of vessel abandonment
• MF54 07A - Observe safety and emergency procedures on a coastal vessel
• MF55 07A - Fight and extinguish fires onboard a commercial vessel

Elements of Shipboard Safety requires mandatory attendance at the scheduled workshops.
